COLORADO RAILROAD MUSEUM IN GOLDEN, CO
Monument commemorating the invention of the dome car. Upon traveling through Glenwood Canyon before the highway the president of General Motors was moved to provide a means of viewing the beauty of the Rockies from the train. Thus, the dome car was invented.
