TUCSON EL PASO & SOUTH WESTERN DEPOT IN TUCSON, AZ
Track side in 1999. Note the EPSF logo is present on the track side, also. I would think that the track side of the building mirrored the front, originally; and that the slanted roof section is an add-on for the restaurant seating?? The tracks are still present off to the left of the view but abandoned. It would be really cool to develop a "Rails-to-Trails." An excellent opportunity here! About 1-4 mile south along the old trackage, a short segment of the "EPSW Greenway" has been created. (That is, dry, barren and desert-like with no vegetation at all. Tucson temps up to 115 F. in summer!!) [photo source: http://home.earthlink.net/~pmcclosky/epsw.louvanwinkle.html
