The Minnehaha Depot is owned by the Minnesota Historical Society and operated by the volunteer-based Minnesota Transportation Museum in Minneapolis' famous Minnehaha Park. The Depot appears much as it did in 1963 when the Milwaukee Road closed it as a freight agency and donated it to MHS (it had last seen passenger trains in 1920). The Depot is open from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays and holidays from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. There is no admission fee but donations are welcome. Visits can be arranged at other times with advance notice for a nominal fee.
