Comments/Directions:
The Como-Harriet Streetcar Line operates three historic Minnesota streetcars on one mile of track that is the last mile of the once-extensive Twin City Rapid Transit Company's 523-mile system. Streetcars operate on weekends from May to November and daily from mid-May to mid-September 6:30 p.m. to dusk on weeknights, 12:30 p.m. to dusk on weekends (5:00 p.m. only in October and November), and 9:30 a.m. to dusk on holidays (9:00 a.m. on Memorial Day). The fare is $2.00; children under age four (three and under) ride for free. Streetcars operate on the scenic "Glen Line," once part of the original Como-Harriet route, connecting Lake Harriet with Lake Calhoun. Ride Duluth Street Railway No. 265 (1915, TCRT Snelling Shops, Saint Paul), TCRT PCC No. 322 (1946, Saint Louis Car Co. Saint Louis), or TCRT No. 1300 (1908, Snelling Shops). Look for Winona No. 10 (1913, Saint Louis Car Co., Saint Louis) soon! Visit the historical displays in the Linden Hills Station, a reproduction of the 1900-era station, and visit the Linden Hills Carbarn and Shops on select Sunday afternoons. Please visit our website for complete information including Memorial Day special operations to Lakewood Cemetery, holiday "Early Bird" specials, Classic Car Day, and the Halloween Ghost, Pumpkin Patch, and Holly Trolleys.
