Ironworld is a Museum that tells the story of immigrant life on the "Iron Range" of Minnesota. Depart the park side of Ironworld by boarding an authetic 1920's trolley and embark on a journey through time. The picturesque 2.4 mile railway routes you around the beautiful Pillsbury mine pit and deposits you at Glen location, a re-creation of an early iron mining community. Upon disembarking at historic Wilpen Depot, you can begin to experience what life was like for early miners and their families. Trolley excursions are on a limited schedule, contact the museum for run dates.
