CANNERY CABOOSE
MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA -USA
Location: MONTEREY, CA
Description:
- RAILCAR(S) ON DISPLAY
- RAILROAD MEMORABILIA ON DISPLAY
|
Comments/Directions:
On the former Southern Pacific right of way in Monterey right in the middle of Cannery Row sits the Cannery Caboose. The caboose houses a very nice assortment of memorabelia. There is also an NYC combination car painted in SP livery that seems to have served as a visitor center but was locked up as of 7/2009. The caboose has a phone number in the window and looked to be available by appointment only.
