Pine River's Heritage Group North has applied for and received a $250,000 Minnesota Transportation History Network grant that moved the depot across the Paul Bunyan Trail from where it sat and totally restored it to its 1913 condition. Plans call for the building to me used as an historical display highlighting the railroad era in the Pine River, Minnesota area.
