STRASBURG, COLORADO -USA
Location: STRASBURG, CO
Description:
- RAILROAD DEPOT
- RAILROAD RELATED MUSEUM
- RAILCAR(S) ON DISPLAY
|
Comments/Directions:
The UP depot in Strasburg has been moved about a half mile west and is part of the Commanche Crossing Museum in Strasburg. Strasburg is where the Kansas Pacific crews working from Denver met those working west from the state line. The line was the original trans-continental railroad as the Cheyenne line as yet had no bridge route across the Mississippi.
