Enjoy a one-mile, twenty minute round trip on the Excelsior Streetcar Line on the former Minneapolis and Saint Louis Railway right-of-way through historic west-suburban Excelsior. The line operates two streetcars in regular service: Duluth Street Railway No. 78 (1893, LaClede Car Company) and Twin City Rapid Transit Company No. 1239 (TCRT 31st Street Shops, 1907). The Excelsior Streetcar Line runs on Thursdays (2:00 to 6:00 p.m.) from early May through mid-October, Saturdays (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), and Sundays (1:00 to 4:00 p.m. from early May until mid-September.
