145 acres of Recreational Park Supervised by Sahuaro Central Railroad Heritage Preservation Society. This site includes: Arizona Model Railroading Society which covers "Garden Scale", "HO", as well as "N" gauge. Along with the Maricopa Live Steamers Club (7.5" gauge). The Park is Open to the Public for "Free Rides" and tours every Sunday, Noon to 4:30PM. The public is invited to ride the train from the second weekend in September until Mothers Day. Closed from Mothers Day until the second weekend in September. To hot the rest of the time. A small railroad museum is on site. A Porter mine engine and a speeder is on the museum grounds.
We do a spring meet the third weekend March starting on Thurdays thru Sunday.We do an operational meet the third weekend January starting on Wednesday and ending Sat. nite.
