RAILROAD MUSEUM
Comments/Directions:
The original Fairfax Station was constructed in the 1850s. During the Civil War the station was the site of several raids and battles, and became a center for emergency treatment of the wounded from the Battle of Second Manassas where Clara Barton first volunteered to provide assistance to battle casualties. The rebuilt replica of the station is now a museum of local railroading and Civil War memorabilia.
