Open for business year round. Circa 1910 Rockaway Beach Train Depot. Originally built by the Pacific Railway & Navigation Company. Welcomed first passenger train in 1912. Moved and enlarged in 1913. Purchased by Southern Pacific Railroad in 1915. Closed 1938 then moved again in early 1940's to present location by railway freight car, 2 blocks to it's present location. Re-furbished and converted to 4 units about 1988. We endeavor to offer our guests home style accomodations with varying decor in each room including historic train related art, old photos,and advertisments for a memorable stay in this historic piece of Americana. We are only one block from the Ocean and seven miles of beaches, offer picnic facilities and complimentary Summer evening wine tasting.
