Comments/Directions: Located in restored 1931 Omaha Union Station. UP caboose 25559 on display. UP 1243 Steam Locomotive now on display in basement on track 1. The museum also contains several Passenger Cars on display on the same level as the Locomotive and Caboose. Many interpretive displays about area railroads and railroading. A beautiful building, across the UP mainline from the CB&Q depot which is currently (9/2006) closed to the public. The museum parking lot and adjacent street bridge are pretty good train watching locations.
