Comments/Directions: Gopher State Railway Museum (GSRM) is not open at this time. GSRM owns a 20 acre plot of land 2 miles north of New Prague, Minnesota on country road 21. Construction began in late 2008 and with any luck we will open during the Summer of 2009. Paper work for installation of our mainline switch has been has been submitted to the Union Pacific Railroad. We have a M&St.L maintenance of way tool building restored and ready to be moved to a temporary area for display. We are actively seeking new members and doing local festivals and parades. Gopher State Railway Museum is going to be a great asset to Minnesota.
