Comments/Directions: The Cheyenne Depot Museum is grandly housed in the Union Pacific Depot - a National Historic Landmark - in downtown Cheyenne, WY. Cheyenne's Visitor Center is in the 1929 Art Deco Lobby with a 40' map of the transcontinental railroad route. The Cheyenne Depot Museum offers visitors an emotional journey into the past to see the hardships endoured by those that built the railroad. The 2nd floor is a "touchable" museum experience for children of all ages! Events throughout the year in the Cheyenne Depot lobby and all summer on the Cheyenne Depot Plaza.
