Steam club operating in Medford Railroad Park. The Medford Railroad Park is open to the public on a regular schedule during the Spring, Summer, and Fall, While the park is open the Southern Oregon Live Steamers will give free rides to the public. On a typical run day we will have up to 6-8 trains running (steam and diesel) and give free rides to 1,800 to 2,400 passengers. The Medford Railroad Park is open to the public from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the second and fourth Sunday of the month, April through October. The Medford Railroad Park also incudes the Following: A Railroad Museum, motorcar and handcar rides, and restored railroad rolling stock and structures operated by the Southern Oregon Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society (http://sorcnrhs.railfan.net). A large HO scale model railroad operated by the Rogue Valley Model Railroad Club. A outdoor garden railroad operated by Southern Oregon Large Scale Trains. An operating telegraph display by the Morse Telegraph Club.
