The Lamy Depot was built in 1909 by AT&SF in their signature California Mission archetectural style with red tile roof and arches of the early ATSF. An 18-mile spur into the Territorial Capitol was operational by February, 1880, the AT&SF having bypassed Santa Fe when building it's main line through New Mexico in 1879. http://www.lamymuseum.org

Street side. The first depot burned in 1890. There were maintenance buildings, a roundhouse, a coal chute, houses, stores, the post office and a church.
