2 PHOTOS FOR EL PASO & SOUTHWESTERN ROUNDHOUSE
VIEW AS GALLERY

1 Reset Actual Size
This photo matches the number of window openings (about 22 or 2 per stall) that are present on the extant structure. They have all been bricked in and stucco finished. (see Google Maps - Street View). Photo is not dated, but written on it is: "The Roundhouse During Construction.:=" Photo also is found in the master plan. Source of photo is a link on city web page: [http://www.tucsonaz.gov/projects/elpaso ]

2 Reset Actual Size
This is a neat photo, but it does not seem to match the design (The EPSW roundhouse windows are are tall, narrow, single openings - two to a stall). Possibly the photo is misinterpreted and could be the Southern Pacific roundhouse built in 1904 that burned down in 1910. SPrr rebuilt their roundhouse, one shows up on a 1955 aerial photo. Photo is labeled EPSW Depot in the 2012 Tucson Greenway Master Plan, which proposes a bike trail along the abandoned EPSW rr route in portions of Tucson. See the M.Plan link on city web page: [http://www.tucsonaz.gov/projects/elpaso ] A nice photo of the EPSW roundhouse can be found at link: [ http://www.gwbm.com/location_tucson.htm ] sign seen on building says Tucson Stucco Supply
