The Fennimore Railroad Historical Society Museum, home of the "Dinky", is located at 610 Lincoln Avenue, Fennimore, Wisconsin, in the former city power house and utility building. The building has been remodeled inside and out to resemble a depot of the turn-of-the-century. The replica loading platform is laid with brick from the original depot using just sand and brick --- the way it was originally built. Similar in general appearance and size to the original narrow gauge Dinky, a 1907 Davenport 2-6-0 locomotive was obtained through the efforts of the members of the Fennimore Railroad Historical Society. The Dinky* and tender now reside on the museum grounds. Visit this delightful railroad museum and visit with friendly folks who will help bring this charming part of history alive. Train rides also around the grounds.

    OUR EIGHTEENTH ANNUAL NEWSLETTER!

As we enter our eighteenth year, we wondered what we could do to keep the interest
and excitement at a high level.
We have been working, since we closed for the 2012 season, preparing for the
    circus!
While the circus will not have a tent, (as yet) it will be aboard a train.
    (What else!!?)

Tableau wagons, animal cages, a calliope, elephants, and all the panoply of the
circus will be here to enjoy.

The Anderson-Brown Circus, The Fabulous Circus, will be coming to town, not for
a day, but for the whole 2013 season.!!

Of course, the picnic shelter, swings, kid’s train rides, and all the other enjoyable
things we have will be available.

Joanne’s Doll Museum will have a some surprises as well.

We are working also on some other attractions, but have to kinda keep those quiet
for a while. Of course members will be given advance heads up!
