    Comments/Directions:
We are constructing a turn of the century (1900 - 1910) working railroad village. We currently have a mid 19th century station, a restored New Haven section house, a New Haven Railroad Freight-house, and a six stall roundhouse complete with 'Arm-strong' operating turntable. A State of Connecticut MU Car trainer currently houses our gift shop. We have a pair of operators shanties - one is used as our ticket booth and the other protects one of our railroad crossings. Also several pieces of rolling stock. Rolling stock includes a Central Vermont wooden braced box car, New Haven copper clad coach, and a turn of the century New Haven baggage car. We have a pair of Central Vermont Railway cabooses (currently under restoration). There are five different diesel locomotives and a 0-6-0T steam engine on display. The site is located on what was known as Columbia Junction. The Museum is being built by the Connecticut Eastern Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. The museum holds various events through out the year, Including a very popular train show in March and October each year.
