Comments/Directions:
The Southern Pacific depot in Sanger is home to the town's local history museum. Sanger was founded as a "lumber town" and had a 54-mile flume that started in Sequoia and terminated in Sanger. The museum has a very nice collection of lumber era memorabilia including a miniature model of historic Sanger and a full size replica (outside) of a section of the lumber flume. The Depot is also home to an impressive Native American basket collection.
