The former ATSF depot in Lamy, NM serves Amtrak's "Southwest Chief" for service between Chicago to Riverside, CA. Santa Fe passengers must drive or ride the "Lamy Shuttle Van" between Lamy and Santa Fe (18 miles distant). Santa Fe Southern Railroad owns the depot and the 18 mile spur line into Santa Fe, and occasionally runs tourist trains. ACL dining car Talladega sits adjacent to the depot and historic buildings from the 1890's are nearby, housing the Lamy Railroad and History Museum (see New Mexico attraction No. 17).
